ARO achieves high-energy polarizers performance through advanced coating design and superior technology. Polarization optics are made for use in some of the most demanding lasers in the world. ARO’s polarizer coatings are great for use with Nd:YAG lasers.

Our catalog includes high performance, first surface, thin film polarizers designed to work at Brewster’s angle in laser based applications and systems. Solid State Polarizer
These high performance, thin film polarizers are first surface coated to separate orthogonal polarizations with a high extinction ratio; the second surface is uncoated. They are available from stock at most common solid state laser wavelengths. They are designed to work at Brewster’s angle, and should be tilt tuned (±3°) to optimize performance.
